I really enjoyed our conversation during Ramadan and I believe that these tapes may have a special message for me. We have reflected upon it a lot, and a lot has grown out of our reflection, which we would like to share with you, my dearest loving sister, since God certainly keeps bringing us back together, and it seems that it is for His purpose, not ours. We guess He is not yet done with us, or perhaps ever more accurately, He is not yet done with God within us. At least is seems this way. Lets start by briefly reviewing the significant milestones in our relationship, at least from the perspective of this child, of your brother, Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler). 2. The Growing Relationship Between Bawa's Children - as reflected in the loving relationship of clarity that is developing between Jehara and Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen (Louie Beutler) We believe our relationship started in 1975, when we first met His Holiness, when we met our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). You were a part of the Children that lovingly surrounded Him, like Crisi, and Kelly, and Cathy, and the whole gang. This relationship then grew deeper when we started to meet each day to learn (actually to memorize) the Ayatal Kursi together, and started to blossom when we did salat together facing the "Light Box". And now it has started to mature and bear fruit, first when we recently shared our love and devotion for Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) during Ramadan 03', and now with our exchange of letters. The Title of This Letter Says It All - our success depends on God's success within us The title of this letter, "Our Success Depends On God's Success Within Us", comes from the recent clarity of this child about our life and the life of God within us, about our path and the path of God within us, about the significance of God asking God a question in Anathi within us, which is the time of darkness before the beginningless beginning within us, before Athi, which is the time of light preceding Awwal within us, which is the time of Creation within us, which is the time preceding the Dunya within us, which is the earth world within us, the earth world which we are now experiencing in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us. The title of this letter comes from the recent clarity of this child about the significance in Anathi within us, when God without an understanding of Himself, in His time of darkness within us, which in truth is us, asked God with an understanding of Himself within us, which in truth is our Father, our Shaikh, and our Guru within us, the question, "Who am I". Let us investigate the significance to each of "us" of this "happening" between God and God in Anathi within us, and let us do our investigation together at the feet of our Father, our Shaikh, and our Guru, at the feet of Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him). For as Bawa teaches us, "If two of you come together in My name, I will be there." 4. A Beautiful Prayer To Bawa, And To God Within Him - to finish what Bawa has started within us, which is Bawa, and to finish what God has started within Bawa, which is God And let us also start our investigation with the following prayer, asking His Holiness to come out of our innermost heart, which is where He lives within us, and come into our mind and desire, which is where we live in our ignorance within us, and destroy us and reveal Him, reveal God to God within us, and in the process, "teach us what we do not know", and in the process answer God's question of God in Anathi, the question, "Who am I?". The "Father's Prayer" of Shaikh Muhaiyaddeen: "Oh our Father, our Shaikh, our Guru we need Your love. Please, please, please, destroy us and reveal You." "Destroy us as separate from You and You as separate from us, and reveal us as One with You and You as One with us." "Destroy the life of separation and differences that you have given us, and reveal the life of Oneness and Unity, of Justice and Truth, and of Compassion and Unity, that you have also given us". Amen, Amen, Ya Rabil Alameen - So be it, So be it, O Ruler of the Universes. Amen, Amen, Ya Rahman Alameen - So be it, So be it, O Most Merciful One.
